Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Guwahati Arrival

Receive at Guwahati Rly. Station /Airport and transfer to the hotel at Guwahati. After refreshment, go out for local sightseeing. Visit Sukreswar Devalaya, Umananda, Brahmaputra River port. Here you can enjoy river cruise (own cost) and overnight stay at Guwahati...

Day 2: Guwahati To Shillong

Morning proceed to visit Kamakhya temple. After puja at Kamakhya, we will proceed to Shillong, also called 'Scotland of the East". On way visit the Umium Lake at Borapani .On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Evening visit wards Lake, Cathedral Church, Police Bazar and night halt at Shillong.

Day 3: Dawki- Mawlynong

After breakfast proceed to visit the Crystal river in Dawki ,Hanging bridge and Ino-Bangla Border Gate then back to the Cleanest Village Mawlynong, visit Living root bridge, Balancing rock. Night halt at Mawlynong.

Day 4: Cherrapunjee

After breakfast visit Cherrapunjee. Visit the Nohkalikai falls, being the world’s fourth tallest water fall, seven sisters’ falls, Mosmai Cave and Eco Park. Night Halt at Cherrapunjee.

Day 5: Cherrapunjee To Shillong

After breakfast proceed to visit Maphong sacred forest and then back to Shillong. On way visit Mowdok valley view point, elephant falls, Air force Museum and overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 6: Shillong To Kaziranga

After breakfast proceed to Kaziranga National park. Check in to the hotel, Evening visit Orchid Garden and overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 7:  Kaziranga To Bomdila

Early morning enjoy elephant Safari Through the forest and After breakfast proceed  to Bomdila. Check in the hotel on arrival. Evening visit; Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery (Upper Gonpa), Thub-Chog Gatsel Ling Monastery (Lower Gonpa), Bomdila View Point. Bomdila offers wonderfully panoramic view of Himalayan landscapes and snow clad ranges. Evening you can visit the local market. Overnight stay in Bomdila

Day 8:  Bomdila To Tawang

After breakfast proceed to Tawang. The drive to Tawang from Bomdila is spectacular and one of the highlights of the entire journey. Stop briefly at the Sela pass at 14000 ft. From Sela, the road goes downhill and there will be many photo-stops. Enroute pass Jeshantgarh. It’s a memorial to Jaswant Singh PVC of the Indian Army who single-handedly repulsed a Chinese attack but fell bravely defending his position. Also pass the spectacular Nuranang waterfalls made famous by Shah Rukh Khan in his movie ‘Koyla’. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 9: Tawang

 After breakfast, visit the high altitude lakes including Pangong Tang Tso lake (commonly referred to as P Tso Lake). Madhri Lake and Bomla Pass, which is close to the Chinese border, then back to Tawang day visit to the famous Tawang Monastery. The 300 year old Monastery, locally called "Gompa" is considered to be the oldest in India and second largest Monastery in Asia after Lhasa in Tibet. The Monastery stands on the spur of a hill over 12000 ft. above the sea level. It accommodates over 500 monks and houses priceless Buddhist texts and scriptures. The Tibetan influence here is unmistakable, with the elaborately painted wooden windows and other motifs. Prayer flags flutter in the breeze and inside, the monks light lamps and drone in joint prayer. An 8mt high gilded statue of the Buddha is seated here, as are numerous ancient Thankas or traditional paintings and manuscripts, visit the Craft Center, Birth place of 4th dalai Lama. Return to your hotel, evening visit War Memorial - here you can enjoy a light & sound show arranged by Indian army Overnight at Tawang

Day 10: Tawang To Dirang

After breakfast drive to Dirang and (100 kms/4 hrs). Dirang is famous for its apple orchards, sheep breeding farms and natural hot springs. The hot water springs in Dirang is considered holy by many who travel to them for a dip. Dirang is ideal place for adventures like trekking . Visit Sangti Valley. Situated along the shores of Sangti river, near Dirang, the Sangti Valley is one of the seasonal homes of the majestic creature called the black-necked crane that flies across from China and perhaps Leh, right into its laps. Later visit the Sheep Breeding Centre, DirangDzong, a local gompa, horticulture garden, Yak research centre, monastery, Dirang village and if time permits .Overnight at Dirang.

Day 11: Dirang To Guwahati

After breakfast sightseeing in Dirang and then back to Guwahati. via tezpur the City of Blood( from Mahabharata). Enroute visit Tipi Orchid Research centre and Nag Mandir, Night halt at Guwahati.

Day 12: Guwahati Departure

After breakfast go out for Guwahati city tour. Visit Basistha Ashram, Balaji Temple, Umananda etc precede to Airport/Railway Station for dropping.
