COVID – 19 : These seem like very dark days, especially for tourism. As many destinations begin to ease lockdown restrictions and more travelers seek out summer getaways to escape the city, tour and activity operators will be on the frontlines welcoming new guests from different cities. If you’re continuing to do travel, it is important to take care of your cleaning routine to ensure that what you are doing to protect yourself.

Hotels in containment zone shall remain closed. Only those outside containment zones will be allowed to open up.

Generic Preventive Measures:
The generic measures include simple public health measures that are followed to reduce the risk of COVID-19. These measures need to be observed by all in these places at all times

These includes:

  • • Physical distancing of at least 6 feet to be followed as far as feasible.
  • • Use of face covers/masks to be made mandatory.

  • • Use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers (for at least 20 seconds) can be made wherever feasible.
  • • Respiratory etiquettes to be strictly followed. This involve strict practice of covering one’s mouth and nose while coughing/sneezing with a tissue/handkerchief/flexed elbow and disposing off used tissues properly.
  • • Self-monitoring of health by all and reporting any illness at the earliest to state and district helpline.
  • • Spitting shall be strictly prohibited.

Covid-19 Restrictions for Interstate Travelers :
Before you travel, make sure to read and understand the complete guidelines of the city/state you are travelling to and comply with the same so as to ease your travel plans.

Health Screening:
COVID-19 test shall be conducted on random basis.
Thermal screening shall be conducted for all passengers.

Travelers Obligation :

  • • All travelers travelling to Uttarakhand need to register on state website: smartcitydehradun.uk.gov.in
  • • Travelers having negative RT-PCR test report from ICMR approved lab not earlier than 72 hours from time of arrival will be permitted to enter the state without any restrictions. Travelers are required to upload the report on state website: http://smartcitydehradun.uk.gov.in
